My original 10” x 10” painting of a purple succulent in a rustic wood frame. The succulent plant sits in the center of a papel picado design, inspired by the paper flags used in Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations. An outer mandala in a colorful motif was inspired by Talavera Poblano pottery. It's helpful to see it as meditation art, to focus on center and bring thoughts back to stability. Encased in a handmade pine frame.
